Kṣetra: Sanskrit practice notebook

Description

In the Bhagavad Gītā, kṣetra symbolizes the body and material nature, the field in which experiences and actions take place. May this be a field for steady practice.

I created this full size dot grid notebook for myself first, because I wanted the perfect place to practice my Sanskrit homework. My teacher Zoë told me that others might enjoy it too, so I have created some special notebooks for Sanskrit students and yoga practitioners. I found the light dot grid to be a perfect field for hand writing in Devanagari (lined pages were too harsh, blank pages not structured enough).

To make these books extra special, each one features a hand painted cover that spells out kṣetra in Devanagari. My hope is that each book serves as a practice space and also a keepsake.

For learning resources, I would highly recommend the book Yogāvatāraam by my Sanskrit teacher Zoë Slatoff.
