Absolutely not! We ship all retail orders plastic-free. Your order will be protected though - we use recycled paper ‘bubble wrap’, kraft wrap, and packing paper leftovers we save from other orders for padding and safety. We love earth.
We have partnered with One Tree Planted, a non profit that facilitates reforestation projects with donations for individual trees! At the end of each year, we use our sales reports to tally up each and every order, big and small, and donate to plant as many trees as orders we have gotten.
Products & Process
Inspired by the beauty of simplicity, artist Kristen Drozdowski creates each one of our designs by hand with love and care.
We screen print our flagship paper products in-house, by hand. Screen printing is a multi-step process of printing ink through a superfine mesh screen which acts like a stencil. Each ink color is printed individually through its own screen. An involved, and thus very "worthwhile" process!
We are proud to use water-based screen printing inks and recycled paper stocks from a local paper mill that operates on 100% hydropower. We’ve implemented a recycling and reuse process in-house, ship our retail orders without plastic and plant a tree for every order.
All of our products are printed on 100% recycled paper from French Paper Company, a Michigan-based independent paper mill that uses 100% hydropower. Read more about their environmental practices here.
Our envelopes and paper used in packaging is also 100% recycled.
Yes! There is lots of room for your own thoughtful and creative messages to your loved ones.
Nope! Once it sets, it sets. Like our other inks, the finish is opaque yet still flat - no glitter catastrophes here. Yay!
Thanks so much! Since the hand made / screen printing process requires a large setup, our runs are no less than 50 of any item at a time. Therefore, we don't offer custom sizes or color for singular items at this time. Sorry about that!
